3. Browser LocalStorage Usage
When you click "Save Result" or "Save Snapshot" on any calculator or rank predictor, the calculated metrics (e.g., net score, correct/incorrect count, accuracy percentage, and timestamp) are stored strictly within your own web browser's LocalStorage (examtoolkit_history).
This data remains on your physical device at all times. It is never transmitted across the network to our servers or any third-party analytics vendor. You can clear this data at any time via the "Clear History" button on the My Progress Dashboard or by clearing your browser cache.
4. Web Server Logs & Anonymous Telemetry
Like all standard web servers, our hosting infrastructure automatically logs standard HTTP access requests. These logs contain anonymous metadata such as browser user agent type, operating system version, referring pages, and requested static assets. These logs are used solely for DDoS prevention, server security monitoring, and static asset cache optimization.
5. Cookies Policy
Negative Marking Calculator does not use tracking cookies, behavioral profiling cookies, or invasive third-party cross-site advertising cookies. We only use essential local browser storage to persist your theme preference (Light/Dark mode) and mock calculation history.
